Serigraphy is a print technique that operates by using fabrics which designe free spots with its texture, to be filled with colours.
This technique is storically attributed to Phoenicians and the tales gains the invention credit to Japan, where they used to do it by rudimentary frames made by human hair. Actually, it's Japanese the following evolution by using silk tissue.
In early twentieth century, serigraphy improved its applications in both artistic and commercial uses, by demonstrating its versatile and long lasting nature as persistent decoration.
Increasing evolution by the time till modern most popular productive system, had always pushed the research to find easier ways to apply this technique to different materials and surfaces, generating new challenges and research fields.
SP International is leading worldwide in "ink jet" technique application for more than 25 years, and it was the first company who had ever applied a decal on a helmet. Strongly established as a good deal, the company still concentrate its work in a continous research, and still testing and self producting decals and chemical formulation in the farm.
